A Love Story Built on Details
Meet the couple behind Upstate Soirée
Upstate Soirée was born from two things we genuinely love: each other, and the art of bringing a room to life.
I’m Zach. My wife Anna is the heart of every design we touch. We met here in the Upstate, got married here, and built our life here — and somewhere along the way, we realized that the part of weddings we kept coming back to wasn’t the spotlight. It was the setting. The way a room feels when you walk in. The quiet magic of candlelight on a farmhouse table, the way a ceremony arch frames a mountain view, the sound of guests picking up a retro phone to leave a voice message for the couple — all the details that turn a space into your space.
We started Upstate Soirée because we saw a gap. The big rental houses in town do volume. They drop things off. We wanted to do something different — something personal. Anna has an eye for design that stops me in my tracks. I handle the logistics so she can focus on what she does best.
Why Greenville
We chose Greenville because it’s one of the best wedding destinations in the Southeast — and it’s also home. Mountain chapels at sunrise, industrial mills downtown, lakeside estates, garden venues tucked into the foothills. No two weddings here look the same, and that variety is what makes our work so rewarding.
The Way We Work
When you reach out, Anna responds. Not a chatbot, not a sales funnel — Anna. She’ll ask about your venue, your guest count, the photos you’ve been saving, the feeling you want people to have. The first consultation is always free.
We put together options that fit your vision and budget — whether that’s a full styling package or just a ceremony arch and charger plates. When the day comes, we’re there. We set up, style, and handle pickup so you don’t lift a finger.
Upstate Soirée is small on purpose. We’re not trying to be the biggest — we’re trying to be the one that cares the most. Every couple gets our full attention and genuine excitement about their day.
